Know Your Rights
Federal law protects you. Read this before hiring anyone — including us.
You have the right to dispute inaccurate information in your credit report by contacting the credit bureaus directly, at no charge. Neither Clear Credit Solution nor any credit repair company can do anything for you that you cannot legally do for yourself.
Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, credit bureaus must maintain reasonable procedures to assure maximum possible accuracy, must investigate disputes (generally within about 30 days), and must correct or delete information that is inaccurate, incomplete, or cannot be verified.
You may cancel a contract with any credit repair organization, without penalty or obligation, at any time before midnight of the third business day after the date you sign it. Your service agreement includes the required cancellation form.
You may obtain a free copy of your credit report in certain circumstances — including once every 12 months from each nationwide bureau at https://www.annualcreditreport.com, after adverse action, or if you are unemployed, on public assistance, or a fraud victim.
No credit repair organization can guarantee a specific score increase, guarantee removal of accurate and verifiable information, or lawfully advise you to make false statements or change your identity. If a company promises any of these, walk away.
